The Second Hong Kong – Shanghai Workshop for Quantitative Finance and Risk Management aims to provide a forum for academic researchers to share new research results, ideas and tools in quantitative finance and related fields. Recent advances in both theoretical and practical issues in risk management, behavioral finance, derivative pricing, portfolio theory, market structures, and other topics, will be presented. There will be sixteen 40-minute presentations delivered by eight invited speakers from various universities in Hong Kong and equal number of speakers from Shanghai and other parts of China. Academic colleagues, research students and industrial practitioners are cordially invited to participate in this workshop.
This Hong Kong – Shanghai workshop is organized by both the Hong Kong Consortium for Quantitative Finance and Shanghai Consortium for Quantitative Finance. The First Workshop was held in Shanghai in September, 2012. The upcoming Second Workshop aims to continue the success of the first one.
